Edlesborough Parish Council (EPC), meets in the Edlesborough Memorial Hall (on the corner of the High Street and Pebblemoor at the SW end of Edlesborough Green), on the third Thursday of every month except August. Meetings start at 7.30pm and all Parishioners are welcome to attend.
The Councillors determine the general policies and strategies of the Council at the monthly Parish Council meeting. However, detailed decisions relating to the day-to-day operation of the principal amenities and services provided by the Parish Council are determined by the General Purposes Committee (GPC). This committee is comprised of six Councillors plus the Clerk.
The GPC also meets on a regular basis, usually the first Thursday (commencing October 2008), of every other month. Meetings are mainly held in the Edlesborough Memorial Hall and start at 7.30pm. As with the full Parish Council meetings, GPC meetings are advertised in advance on the Parish notice boards and on this website. Members of the public, especially Parishioners, are welcome to attend. A summary report of each GPC meeting is made at the next meeting of the full Council.
The minutes for each EPC and GPC meeting will be ratified at the respective following month's meeting and then posted on this website.| © 2008 Edlesborough Parish Council | This page last updated on 19.12.08 |
