Dagnall Sub Committee meeting

1) Manpower
James Wright will help us get displays set up. Agreed to meet at 7.00pm on Friday evening, 18th June, at the village hall. VL, KC, KB, KD, and JW plus Geoff Spencer.
Hall is available Friday from lunchtime. KC to collect Hall key on Friday from Liz Coates.
KB/KC will put posters around the village, asap.
2) Refreshments
VL to buy tea coffee etc, and to ask her girls if they will help serve refreshments. Any cakes we can get made will be welcome. Plate for donations for refreshments. KC to send wording to VL for her to print on card.
Video will be done by Kathy, as best she can this week.
3) Displays
KC will collect boards from BCA (at Bierton), and from Edlesborough.
KC has the parish council boards already.
KB will bring school ones, VL will bring church boards (check with Bertien where they are!)
Generic boards will have the following information displayed on them:

Map of the parish/3 villages-with pictures of general areas and photos of specific buildings, linked with coloured string.
Dagnall pictures have been provided by Geoff Spencer. KC has Geoff’s album and will scan the ones we want. KB to get school photos and examples of the childrens work.
Historic photos - Adrian Bush is mounting each village on different coloured backgrounds. Karen Coppen has taken Geoff’s only ‘original’ historic photos, and will ask Adrian Bush how he wants to use them, and scan what is needed.
Issues eg Economics, Transport headings as previously agreed. Headings only on the boards but with a person by each board.
Geoff gave footpath info and a map.
KB will print a few more copies of Geoff’s history of Dagnall to sell on the day. Geoff will be there too to answer history questions.
Some historic info will go with the photos.
All images will be printed for ABush and he can laminate then
Post-its to be used for comments on the blank boards.
Board for village organizations ; info rec from DU5, Mums and Tots, Bingo, VL to do something for church/ chase up Sunday school.
No photos have been received yet for competition.
Geoff has an O/S map centred on Dagnall, KC can mount the map, and KDay has cellophane that will protect it.
Our thanks to Geoff for all he is lending to the EDaN Project.
Adrian Bush will coordinate getting all the display bits completed. KC will confirm with him when she will collect then]m prior to Friday evening.
Visitors book (KD to get books) some record of who came will be helpful.
4) Stationery
KCoppen will get the stationery. Flip chart needed.
Children’s corner has been organized, to be covered by playgroup and Sunday school.
